“Gratin-tei Dotsubodoru,” located in Arpa Ashiya along Ekimae-dori near JR Ashiya Station, closed on May 16.

When we stopped by on the afternoon of May 22, work to dismantle the interior was already underway.

Apparently, the restaurant had been in business for 45 years. It was truly a long-established gratin restaurant.

Accompanied by a cute illustration, the notice avoided using the word “closing” and instead conveyed a desire to say goodbye on a cheerful note.
