Here’s a look at the cherry blossoms (Somei Yoshino) we saw yesterday, March 24, in Kawanishicho〜

↑As you can see, some of the buds had turned reddish and looked like they were just about ready to bloom!

↑You can see some pink starting to show around here too〜

↑Looking at the whole row of cherry trees, though, they still seem to have a way to go… but the buds have definitely started swelling quite a bit.

↑This year’s “Ashiya Sakura Festival” is on Sunday, April 6, so hopefully the blossoms will be in full bloom right around then〜. It’s been getting much warmer, so it feels like blooming is just around the corner!
The row of cherry trees we photographed this time is around here on the map↓
The address is Kawanishicho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
If you spot cherry blossoms blooming anywhere in Ashiya City, please send your photos to Ashiya Tsushin〜! (The form or LINE are both OK! Be sure to write where you took the photo〜)
