The Kentucky Fried Chicken R-2 Ashiya location in Kusunoki-cho in the Uchide area along National Route 2 has been closed since February 25 for store renovations.

↑If you head this way (east), you’ll find Rokko Miso Manufacturing, McDonald’s Ashiya Uchide, Kusunoki Children’s Park, Jolly Pasta Ashiya, and more, before entering Nishinomiya City.
↑Going the opposite way (west), there are Nigiri Chojiro Ashiya, Ramen Chinyu, Gusto Ashiya, Royal Host Ashiya, and other spots.

This is a roadside location with the ordering counter on the first floor, eat-in seating on the second floor, and a drive-thru. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of store it becomes after the renovations. We’re curious what changes there will be to the interior, layout, ordering system, and more.
