The roadway (Kawanishi Sakura-dori) between Shinko Sports Gymnasium & Youth Center and Shinko Sports Ground (Kawanishi Sports Ground) in Kawanishi-cho, near Hanshin Ashiya Station, will apparently be closed to traffic on Sunday, January 26, from 10:00 a.m. to around 2:00 p.m.

The road closure appears to be for the FY2024 Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill.
At the Gymnasium & Youth Center, there will be activities such as a “Real Evacuation Game,” CPR and AED training, and a cardboard bed experience. At the sports ground, visitors can apparently experience displays of various vehicles such as pump trucks and water trucks, a kids’ rescue experience, and debris removal training.
Since many people with children are likely to visit, the roadway may be closed so people can move between the venues more safely. It’s only for about four hours, but cars won’t be able to pass through, so please take care.
