BAKER, a confectionery and bakery workshop located on the first floor of the Frontage Ashiya apartment building (Ashiyahama Center) near Daito-cho and Seido Junior High School, is reportedly opening a retail store next to its current workshop!

↑ A post from BAKER’s official Instagram account. The opening date has not yet been announced, but it looks like a special opening event is also being planned!

BAKER’s workshop is a confectionery and bakery production facility that does not usually sell directly to the public. However, its breads and sweets are available on workshop sale days held several times a month, at events, and online.
Once the new retail store opens, perhaps there will be more opportunities to shop there than there are now. We’re looking forward to it!

Around Frontage Ashiya (Ashiyahama Center), where BAKER will be located

↑ Heading this way (east) along the street on the south side of the building will take you toward Nishinomiya and Shukugawa.

↑ Heading in the opposite direction (west) along the same street will take you to Seido Junior High School, and farther along you’ll find places such as the KOHYO Ashiya Nangu supermarket.

↑ This is the building as seen from the north. The central passageway runs through to the other side.

↑ Across the street on the north side of the building is the Co-op Kobe Co-op Uchidehama supermarket.
Finally
BAKER sells bread, doughnuts, stollen, cookie tins, and more, and appears to be popular at department store events as well. We can’t wait to learn more about what the new shop will be like and when it will open!
