About a month ago(10/3), Motohiko Saito was at the “pedestrian deck” in front of JR Ashiya Station.

It was raining, and he was all alone. Even so, it seems he was speaking there.(Photo provided by Dano-chan)
Yesterday, 11/9 (Sat). The scene at JR Ashiya Station
Near JR Ashiya Station.

Along Yamate Kansen, in front of the Laporte East Building.

The huge crowd was made up of people waiting for Motohiko Saito’s speech.

Compared with when he was all alone a month ago,

what a difference. Just look at this crowd.

Has this area ever seen this many people gathered here before?

We want to properly preserve this as part of Ashiya’s history, so we’re planning to make it an archive article on Ashitsuu.

The sound of the campaign car approaching started to fade. When we looked, we spotted Saito-san.

Around 2 p.m., Motohiko Saito’s campaign car arrived.

Seeing so many people, he looked happy.

At last, he gets out of the car.

Motohiko Saito appeared with the catchphrase, “Don’t stop Hyogo’s momentum!”

So much attention.

There were this many people even in the front row.

The speech is about to begin.

The people of Ashiya. From time to time, someone would call out “Do your best!” but overall the atmosphere was quiet and serious as everyone listened.(Maybe that’s just the local character. It was the same at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi)

Motohiko Saito also spoke earnestly about what he wanted to convey,

and it was impressive how calmly he delivered his message in easy-to-understand words.

Some people were holding up messages.

They were handing out election flyers.

Still, just look at the size of this audience.

Even though people in the back couldn’t see, the energy was truly incredible.

The area above the 7-Eleven across the street was packed too.
