Today, September 24 (Tue) from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., NHK General TV (Hyogo Prefecture only) will air “Live Love Hyogo”, and it looks like they’ll be featuring an initiative taking place at an elementary school in Ashiya〜

It seems the program will introduce “inclusive education that respects diversity” at an elementary school in Ashiya.
Inclusive education refers to education where all children learn together, regardless of differences such as disabilities or illness, nationality or race, religion, gender, and more〜.
Mayor Takashima, who took office last year, also seems to be putting particular effort into education. NHK’s close coverage may reveal what kinds of concrete initiatives are currently underway! (The photo above shows the mayor interacting with children at the Laporte Ennichi festival.)
If you’re in an area where you can’t watch it today, it looks like the program will be available to stream on NHK Plus after broadcast〜
