It looks like the “Summer Night Gathering”, hosted by Sanjo Community School, will be held at Sanjo Park near Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station on Saturday, August 24, from 16:00 to 20:00. ※Will be held in light rain

↑ Notice for the “Summer Night Gathering” posted on the bulletin board
A “Community School” (Comi-Suku) is a community with the shared goal of creating a warm, relaxed town through cultural, sports, welfare, and local activities that anyone can take part in. One is set up at each elementary school in the city.
This year’s “Summer Night Gathering” is set to feature a stage and festival stalls. On stage, there will be cheer dance, wind ensemble performances, a ’70s J-POP live show, and Bon Odori dancing with live music!
For the stalls, there will be game-style booths like lottery draws, yo-yo fishing, super ball scooping, and jelly scooping, food booths serving things like yakitori, yakisoba, frankfurters, Korean chijimi pancakes, Bolognese pita sandwiches, churros, shaved ice, and cookies, plus a flea market too.

The address is 8-3 Sanjo-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This year’s food stalls have a great variety, from classic festival favorites to some more unusual dishes. I’m way too curious about the Bolognese pita sandwich!! The ’70s J-POP live show and Bon Odori with live music sound like a lot of fun too! Please note that bringing alcohol into the venue is prohibited, and there is no parking lot.
