It looks like a building called “CH.158 BLDG. HANSHIN ASHIYA” is going to be built just north of Hanshin Ashiya Station, on the site where “Matsuda Building” and “FLEX COURT Ashiya” used to stand.
↑A sign was posted at the planned construction site. It seems the building will be designed and supervised by a company called “Suga Tadashi Architects Office”.

In closing
There is another building with the same “CH.158” name in front of Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station, and that one is a medical mall with internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, and more. Maybe the new building in front of Hanshin Ashiya Station will become a medical mall too? We’re curious to see what happens.
