The “Ashiya Waku Waku Summer Marche,” a free-admission market event themed around fun for both children and adults, will reportedly be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 8 at Ashiya Civic Activity Center “Lead Ashiya” in Kōmitsu-chō.

The event is packed with attractions, including food stalls selling sweets, takoyaki, French fries, and more; handmade goods and accessories for sale, workshops, personal color consultations, massages, and fortune-telling; an all-items-¥100 flea market supporting the Noto Peninsula; and a corner where children can get help with their summer vacation homework and independent research projects.
It also looks like the first 100 visitors who bring the flyer can enjoy a free candy-fishing game. It certainly sounds like an event that adults and children can enjoy together!
