It looks like the “36th Seido Commu-School Summer Festival” will be held on the playground of Seido Elementary School in Seido-cho on Saturday, July 20, from 16:30 to 19:00! ※The event will go ahead in light rain, but will be canceled in case of rain.

“Commu-School” is short for “Community School.” It refers to a community with the shared goal of creating a more fulfilling and relaxed town through cultural, sports, welfare, and local activities that anyone can take part in. Each elementary school in the city has one.
This year’s “Seido Commu-School Summer Festival” is expected to feature festival stalls, Bon Odori dancing, cheer dance performances by children, “Seisho Yocchore” by volunteer third-grade students from Seido Elementary, a raffle, and more!
The first-prize raffle items are apparently sponsored by the butterfly cafe and gallery “Tefutefu” in Ise-cho, “PATISSERIE PERITEI” in Omasu-cho, and the cafe “Cha to Ka to Ii Hi” in Kimitsu-cho. It’ll be fun to see what kinds of prizes are up for grabs♪
