It looks like “Komeda’s Coffee Ashiya Laporte” is scheduled to open around mid-August on the 1st floor of the North Building of “Laporte,” the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, along the Yamate Kansen road!!

↑ A notice about the planned opening has been posted. Business hours are planned to be 7:00–23:00, so there may not be many other cafes around here that you can use from morning until nearly late at night. (Even the Starbucks in Mont et Mer is only open until 22:00.)

↑ If you go this way (west), you’ll find “Seven-Eleven Ashiya Station North Exit” next door, followed by “Kansai Mirai Bank Ashiya Branch,” “Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Ashiya Branch,” the Italian restaurant “CUCINA RIFUKA,” and beyond that is the Ashiyagawa area.

When you think of “Komeda’s Coffee,” you probably think of the Nagoya-style morning set that comes with your drink order in the morning! And it’s also famous for light meals like sandwiches and desserts like “Shiro-Noir” being much more generous than they look in the menu photos!
There are several locations in Nishinomiya and Kobe, but it’s finally coming to Ashiya too…! We’re looking forward to the opening!
