Tomorrow, May 25 (Sat.), “Ashiya Bar” will be held for the first time in five years〜!! With more participating shops than last time and over half of them joining for the first time, “Ashiya Bar” has powered up in a big way. This time, we’ll share even more details!

What is “After-Bar”?
“Ashiya Bar” itself takes place only on May 25 (Sat.), but during the After-Bar period, tickets you couldn’t use up during the event can be used as vouchers worth 800 yen each at select participating shops!
So even if you’re thinking, “I might not have enough time on the day to use all my tickets…” or “There are places I want to visit, but I won’t be able to get around to them all that day〜,” you’re covered!
Just bring your leftover tickets to an After-Bar participating shop by June 1 and GO〜!
“Ashiya Bar” Ticket Information
Advance tickets are 4,000 yen per booklet (5 tickets), and same-day tickets are 4,500 yen. Buying in advance is the better deal!!
Advance tickets can be purchased at participating shops, and reservations can also be made through the official “Ashiya Bar” website!

If you reserve through the official website, you can exchange your payment for advance tickets on the day at two locations in the city: the headquarters tent on the deck in front of JR Ashiya Station, and Tanaka Kinseido in Ogusucho.

Believe it or not, on the day of “Ashiya Bar,” a free dedicated shuttle bus will be running! Apparently, “Ashiya Bar” is the only bar-hopping event in the Hanshin area that even provides buses〜 Amazing!
“Ashiya Bar” Participating Shops & Menus
The number of participating shops has increased from 38 last time to 41 shops! And more than half are apparently joining for the first time〜
It’s not just izakaya pubs and bars. There are also tonkatsu restaurants, Italian restaurants, Okinawan cuisine restaurants, curry shops, cafés, bakeries, patisseries, general goods shops, hair salons, acupuncture clinics, esthetic salons, personal training studios, and more. The lineup is so varied and unique, it’s hard to believe it’s a bar-hopping event!? Even people who don’t drink alcohol should be able to have a great time〜
Schedule for the Day
The “Ashiya Bar” hours vary by shop, so be sure to check the schedule carefully! Please note that these hours are also different from each shop’s regular business hours〜
Free “Jazz Concert” Held on the Same Day
On the day of “Ashiya Bar” and the following day (May 25 and 26), free jazz concerts by university students from the Kansai region will be held at Laporte Main Building and East Building!
While enjoying drinks and food at the bar event, you can also enjoy some wonderful jazz performances〜!
