↑ A post from KALM’s official Instagram account. It will be a charcoal-grilled steak restaurant using Binchotan charcoal, serving Hyogo-raised female wagyu beef cooked in a large hearth oven.

↑ The exterior of the iza Building, where the restaurant is set to open. It appears that KALM will be located on the first basement floor, down the outdoor staircase.
Here’s the map↓
The address is iza Building B1F, 9-3 Kinmitsucho, Ashiya, Hyogo.
What’s Around KALM

↑ It is located on the north side of the Naruo-Mikage Line, partway up the hill a short distance east of Hanshin Ashiya Station. The building’s above-ground floors are home to the baking-supply store Bake Base, the bar 芦屋日記, and the Italian restaurant スパッツィオ イノ.

↑ Heading this way (east), you’ll pass 婦人服飾 オーニシ, the select shop Clean, the Japanese restaurant 日本料理 ふる里, and the Japanese-style pub しらん before reaching the intersection with Ashiya Hondori.

↑ Heading the other way (west), next door is the Alcove Ashiya building, home to businesses including 鶏白湯RAMEN 芦屋 焔. Farther along, you’ll reach the area in front of Hanshin Ashiya Station, where you’ll find the patisseries Poche du Rêve Ashiya and Henri Charpentier Ashiya Main Store, as well as the Ashiya Police Station.

↑ Across the street is Tominaga Clinic.
Final Thoughts
According to the official Instagram account, the interior is currently being renovated in preparation for the opening, and the restaurant is also hiring staff. The owner-chef is a certified sommelier, so it sounds like guests will be able to receive recommendations for wine and food pairings!
Thank you, Mizuking, for the information!!
