It looks like “Shinryoku Spring Healthy Pokapoka Sports Day” will be held at Shinko Sports Ground (Kawanishi Sports Field) in Kawanishi-cho, near Hanshin Ashiya Station, on Sunday, May 12 from 13:00 to 16:00〜 ※Canceled in case of rain
Quoted from the Lead Ashiya official website event page
It’s a free event that anyone can casually join, from small children to seniors, and people with or without disabilities. Some festival stall games require a fee.
The events include:
- Kicking: Score a goal with a soccer ball and earn points. Children’s balls will also be available.
- Throwing: Throw and catch a rugby ball to earn points. The throwing distance can be adjusted flexibly.
- Running: Teams of 3 to 4 people relay 100m within a set time to earn points. The goal is not to run fast, but to run within the designated time.
- Flying discs and Strike Out will also be available.
Some events are done in groups, but even if you come alone, you can team up with others on the spot and participate.
You can use the points you earn in the events to enjoy festival stalls and games such as candy fishing, ring toss, bowling, and super ball scooping〜
If you don’t usually get many chances to exercise, this could be a nice opportunity to join in, get moving, and maybe make some new connections too!
