Starting April 18, we went right away to try lunch at “Teppan Izakaya Yasu”, which just opened near Hanshin Uchide Station!
“Teppan Izakaya Yasu”’s “Pork Modern Set Meal”

“Pork Modern Set Meal” 900 yen (tax included)
This set comes with the main pork modanyaki plus salad, miso soup, rice, and pickles. So much volume for this price!

↑The modanyaki comes cut into bite-sized squares from the start, so it’s easy to eat! This time I ordered it without mayonnaise, but of course you can get it with mayo too~

↑Egg, pork, roughly chopped cabbage, yakisoba, and batter are layered together like a mille-feuille~

↑The great thing about modanyaki is that you can enjoy okonomiyaki and yakisoba at the same time! The sauce is mellow and gentle in flavor~

↑And since it also comes with salad, miso soup, and rice, it’s a seriously filling meal! You can choose large, medium, or small rice (the photo shows the small size), and you can also order it without rice (-50 yen)~

↑On the table, there are seasonings like spicy sauce and aonori, so you can change up the flavor partway through~ Apparently, you can also grill yakiniku on the tabletop stove!

“Naoshichi Soda” 570 yen (tax included)
Drinks aren’t included in the set, but on this day they were running an opening campaign with one free drink~
“Naoshichi” is apparently a fruit also known as the “phantom citrus.” Its mellow acidity and subtle citrus bitterness made it a refreshing match for the rich sauce flavor!
“Teppan Izakaya Yasu” Menu

↑Here’s the lunch menu. They had yakisoba, negiyaki, sobameshi, ginger pork, harami rice bowls, and more~

↑Here’s the okonomiyaki and yakisoba menu. You can choose toppings too~

↑They also have quick dishes and à la carte items.

↑You can also enjoy sobameshi, fried rice, rice bowls, and “yakiniku” cooked on the tabletop stove. Since this used to be the site of a yakiniku restaurant, it’s a nice menu option for people who used to go to the previous place too~

“Teppan Izakaya Yasu” Shop Information

↑It opened near Hanshin Uchide Station, along the Inariyama Line, at the former site of “Yakiniku 524.” The owner apparently trained at “Okonomi Life KAGITA” in Kogai-cho before opening this independent shop~
