Over the past few days, it seems like yellow sand has been blowing across Japan, and Ashiya was definitely looking hazy from it too〜
↑This was taken yesterday near the mouth of the Ashiya River. The buildings in the distance and Mount Rokko looked pretty hazy and whitish〜
↑Maybe it looked yellowish because it was around sunset… or was it because of the yellow sand? Not sure, but the haze was intense.
↑Kind of an atmospheric scene, in a way? But it makes you sneeze, and my eyes feel kind of irritated too…
↑Along National Route 2 as well, the distance was hazy and blurred〜 The weather was also lightly cloudy, giving everything a gloomy feel.
↑It was the kind of day where no matter what you photographed, everything came out looking a bit misty…
Today seems a little better than yesterday, but there still appears to be yellow sand left in the air. The forecast says it should clear up from tonight onward. I hope this haze lifts soon so everything feels fresh again〜!
