We went to try lunch at “Men-san’s Thai Restaurant Buriram,” which opened in Omasu-cho on March 15!
The “Khao Man Gai” lunch set at “Men-san’s Thai Restaurant Buriram”

Lunch set “Khao Man Gai” 1,000 yen (tax included)
For lunch, the main dish, khao man gai, comes with a salad and soup.

Khao man gai is apparently rice topped with steamed chicken. It comes with peeled sliced cucumber and cilantro on the side.

↑ The sauce is served separately in a small dish.

↑ This sauce starts off sweet and tangy, but then the heat really kicks in!! So if you’re not confident with spicy food, we recommend trying it little by little on the steamed chicken.

↑ But then I thought, “Actually… maybe I can handle it?” and poured a bunch of sauce over the steamed chicken! I ate it while panting from the heat!! Spicy!!! But I couldn’t stop eating!! I ended up having two big glasses of water…!

↑ The salad in the set had an onion-based dressing on it.

↑ A gentle soup with daikon, scented with cilantro. So soothing… but because it’s warm, it makes your mouth tingle… but it’s still soothing…!
With its bold spiciness, cilantro, and other flavors, this is a place where Thai food lovers can enjoy a truly authentic taste!
Menu at “Men-san’s Thai Restaurant Buriram”

↑ Here’s the lunch menu. Every item comes with salad and soup for 1,000 yen! Other dishes like gapao rice and Thai curry look tempting too!

↑ For drinks, they have several kinds of beer, highballs, and other alcoholic drinks, as well as Thai-style iced tea, coffee, juice, and more. It looks like they also have ice cream.
