Near JR Ashiya Station, the hair salon “KUVEL” along Yamate Kansen had relocated about 150 meters west along the same Yamate Kansen at the end of February.

Area Around the Former “KUVEL” Location
↑On the north side of Yamate Kansen. To the left is “Mutsumi Pharmacy,” and to the right across the alley, a five-story apartment building with restaurants and an exhibition space is under construction.
↑If you head this way east, you’ll find Shinnouzuka Bridge over the Miyagawa River, leading toward Shinnouzuka-cho, Midorigaoka-cho, and Shukugawa.
↑If you head the other way west, you’ll find places like “MUFG Bank Ashiya Branch.” After about 150 meters you’ll reach the new location, and farther on is the area in front of JR Ashiya Station, where the “LaPorte” shopping mall is located.

In Closing
It was in a pretty noticeable spot along Yamate Kansen, and at first glance it had the stylish vibe of a cafe or a general goods shop, but it was actually a hair salon. So they’ve moved. I’m curious to see what kind of shop will take over the former space!
