What is the “Ashiya Sakura Search Stamp Rally”?
It’s a stamp rally event designed to help everyone enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming throughout Ashiya! A wide variety of local businesses are taking part, including restaurants, retailers, and salons.
Participating businesses offer cherry blossom-themed menu items and products, letting you experience the arrival of spring as you make your way around the stamp rally. Spend at least 500 yen at a participating business to receive one stamp, then enter to win prizes based on the number of stamps you collect!
※Multiple stamps from the same business are not valid. Be sure to visit a different business for each stamp!

↑ Once you’ve finished collecting stamps, you can submit your stamp card by mailing it to the Ashiya City Society of Commerce and Industry or taking it there in person.

Prizes You Can Win
Prizes include a Nintendo Switch and home appliances such as a BALMUDA The Toaster and a TIGER COOKPOT electric pressure cooker, as well as a premium beef tasting set, domestic eel unaju, baked goods, coffee and other food items, plus vouchers such as bookstore gift cards and Starbucks tickets!
The prizes you can enter to win depend on how many stamps you collect, so if you’re aiming for the top prizes, you’ll want to visit plenty of businesses!
There’s also a second-chance drawing in which 50 people will win an original travel case!
Participating Businesses
This year, 43 businesses in total—including 10 first-time participants—are taking part, including cafés, confectionery shops, general stores, bookstores, and shrines! See the full list of participating businesses here
The map also features cherry blossom viewing spots around the city, so why not collect stamps while touring the blossoms?
