It looks like the “34th Almond Festival” will be held at Toyo Nut Co., Ltd. Head Office Factory in Fukaehamamachi, Higashinada Ward, Kobe City, on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, from 10:00 to 16:00! *Held rain or shine, free admission

The Almond Festival was held at the head office factory last year for the first time in four years. This year, in addition to the annual favorites such as freshly fried almonds, original nut-based foods, and Toyo Nut products for sale, it looks like “Almond au Lait” and food booths from partner companies will be back for the first time in five years!

↑ A look at last year’s Almond Festival. Lots of people were lined up at the booth selling Toyo Nut products.

↑ You can enjoy an early flower-viewing experience with “almond blossoms,” which look a lot like cherry blossoms!

↑ The freshly fried almonds are hugely popular every year! At the partner company booths returning this year, you’ll apparently be able to try foods like yakisoba with almonds, Chinese steamed buns such as miso walnut buns and almond curry buns, and even beef curry with sliced almonds!

↑ Popular items may sell out if you go later in the day…! If there’s something you really want, go early!
Here’s the map of the venue↓
The address is 30 Fukaehamamachi, Higashinada Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
There are apparently only a very small number of parking spaces at the venue. On the day of the event, a free shuttle bus will run from Hanshin Fukae Station, so use that or walk to the venue! If you live in the Minami Ashiyahama area, crossing the Higashinada Ashiya Bridge is the closest route.
