There was a new sign up at “Uchide Park”, which is currently being renovated!

↑Here’s what “Uchide Park” looks like during renovations.

↑A park name sign has been installed on the fence next to the east entrance! “Uchide Park” now has “Osaru Koen” written as furigana! The monkey silhouette is cute too.

↑Looking into the back on the east side… there’s play equipment that looks like a monkey! So cute!

↑On the west side, there were new pieces of playground equipment like a swing set and slide, plus a turtle and rabbit that looked just like the ones that used to be there!

↑The turtle that used to be at Uchide Park before the renovation.

↑The rabbit that was also at Uchide Park before the renovation.

↑There was also a sign near the planting by the entrance saying “Watch out for children suddenly running into the street!!” It features a character called “Uchimon”, with a head shaped like Uchide no Kozuchi and a monkey-like body! Could this be a new character?

↑The back side says “Slow down!!” “Uchimon” is here too! Looks like they fell right on their behind!

↑Across from the park, you can also see “Uchide Education and Culture Center (Uchibun)”, which is being renovated just like the park. While keeping the stone exterior, the west side has become a new building.
Uchide Park, Uchide Education and Culture Center, and the Uchide branch library are apparently set to reopen after renovations on Monday, April 1. It looks like they’ll be adding all kinds of new facilities too. Can’t wait!
