“Cafe Rucette,” located on the first floor of “Space R” along Chaya Sakura-dori, is set to reopen after renovations on Tuesday, February 20!
↑The café had been closed for renovations since last June.

What’s Around “Space R”
↑This three-story building is on the east side of Chaya Sakura-dori. The second floor houses the “R books” bookstore, the third floor is “Gallery R,” and the basement is “Stage R.”
↑Head this way (north) to reach National Route 2. Cross the road and continue on to find places such as “Ashiya Tonkatsu Musashi,” before arriving at the south entrance of JR Ashiya Station.
↑Head the other way (south), and next door you’ll find the healthy dining restaurant “come come.” Farther along are “Pavé Artisan Ashiya Main Store,” “RIO COFFEE Ashiya Main Store,” and the Japanese restaurant “Samazama,” among others.
↑Across the street is “WHITE HOUSE Ashiya Sakuranamiki,” a hair salon, among other businesses.

The notice announcing the reopening date featured the logo of a shop called “麹菓堂 wabi (Kikkado Wabi).” The shop specializes in baked goods made with koji. It currently has no permanent storefront and appears to sell its products at events and online.
