This free event is mainly planned by junior and senior high school students, with the aim of remembering the “1.17” Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and creating a brighter future. Handmade clay lanterns created using plastering techniques under the guidance of professional plasterers will be lit from 17:00.

At the venue, there will be disaster-prevention-related booths such as “Disaster Prevention Mystery Solving,” “Disaster Prevention Workshop,” and “Emergency Food Tasting and Experience,” as well as exhibits on plastering techniques and a plastering workshop. Two food trucks are also scheduled to set up in the north parking lot.
At Narihira Park, there will also be a lantern lighting ceremony and a performance of “Eisa,” a traditional Okinawan performing art! ※The event will be held even in rainy weather.
