A new Korean restaurant, “Kamon Ashiya Korean-tei Ashiya Main Store,” is set to pre-open on Friday, December 1, followed by its grand opening on Thursday, December 7, along Sakura-dori in Kawanishi-cho!

↑ It appears to be opening at the back of the first floor of a building on the west side of Sakura-dori, which also houses the Thai restaurant “Baan Thai ASHIYA.”
↑ Head this way (north) to reach National Route 2.
↑ In the opposite direction (south), you’ll pass “Lawson Ashiya Kawanishi,” “Ashiya Doshoujin,” and “Tonkatsu Shabu-Shabu Tamura” before reaching the Naruo-Mikage Line (in front of the Youth Center).

The restaurant has just five counter seats, so it’s probably best to make a reservation by sending a DM to the restaurant’s Instagram account. More and more new restaurants have been opening along Sakura-dori, making this quiet street quite the up-and-coming hot spot!
