Last Night’s 10/8 Fireworks Were Apparently Launched at Nishinomiya-hama and Could Be Seen from Ashiya

The fireworks that went up yesterday, Sunday, October 8, around 6 p.m. seem to have been from the “Nishinomiya-hama Marine Festa 2023”.

Apparently they were visible from some parts of Ashiya too, and we received photos from Ashi2 reader Emirin!

Apparently, the “Nishinomiya-hama Marine Festa” is actually held every year. The fireworks only last about 15 minutes, but since they launch a lot of them in a short, concentrated burst, it’s said to be pretty powerful. (I could hear them but couldn’t see them… I wanted to watch!)
