↑ An announcement poster for the Seido danjiri. In this neighborhood, the first 100 children to take part in the children’s float-pulling event will reportedly receive an original drawstring bag and some sweets.

↑ A poster recruiting pullers for the Uchide danjiri. It looks like neighborhoods across the city are inviting people to join their danjiri parades, so check the flyers and posters in your area!

↑ The Yamanomachi danjiri is also running an Instagram hashtag campaign! Five winners will be selected from the submitted photos to receive a signed danjiri calendar and a Yama towel.
The Danjiri Parade, bringing together danjiri floats from neighborhoods across Ashiya, is also scheduled to take place on Ashiya Hon-dori from 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 8!
The Ashiya Autumn Festival will also be held that day at Omasu Park and Chaya Park, both just a short walk from Hon-dori!
Let’s celebrate Ashiya’s autumn tradition—the danjiri festival—again this year!
