It looks like Relay For Life Japan 2023 Ashiya, a charity event supporting cancer patients and the fight against cancer, will be held at Kawanishi Sports Ground and the Ashiya Youth Center in Kawanishi-cho, near Hanshin Ashiya Station, from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2 until around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 4.

On the day of the event, there will be activities such as talks by cancer survivors, a social salon, a relay walk, a candlelight ceremony, and a candle run. There will also be official merchandise for sale, face painting, and sales of bento, sweets, light meals, and more from restaurants around Ashiya.

Last year, the event seems to have been held on a reduced scale due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year it will return to the sports ground, with a variety of exchange events planned!
