It looks like “LaPorte Ennichi 2023” will be held at LaPorte, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, on Sunday, August 27, from 11:00 to 18:00!

There will be plenty of games, including “Struck Out,” where you can win Bourbon snacks as prizes, plus yo-yo fishing, jumbo ring toss, super ball scooping, and goldfish scooping!
There will also be lots of food stalls serving things like takoyaki, yakisoba, baby castella, cotton candy, and shaved ice!
Also, Ashiya Mayor Ryosuke Takashima (pictured in the center above), who has been attracting attention as the youngest mayor, is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony starting at 12:00!
Apparently, he might even play Struck Out together with the kids!? That’s sure to draw some attention too.
