It looks like the 100-yen shop “DAISO” is planning to open around late September at “Mont et Mer,” the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station!

↑ Part of the 4th floor is currently under renovation, but shops such as the cafe “ARROW TREE” and the drugstore “Matsumoto Kiyoshi” are open for business.
At Mont et Mer, there used to be a “DAISO” on the 4th floor of the West Building before the March 2020 renovation, but it closed during the renewal. With this reopening, many people may be happy to see “DAISO” return to Mont et Mer.
Currently, the only “DAISO” in Ashiya City is the “Daiei Gourmet City Ashiyahama” location.
As for 100-yen shops in the city, “Can Do” opened in 2021 at “Laporte Main Building” in front of JR Ashiya Station, the same area as Mont et Mer, but this year there have also been a series of closure announcements, including “Ashiya Naturalism” in Higashiyamacho and “FLET’S” in Nangucho.
