The “Chaya Tanabata Festa” will be held along Chaya Sakura-dori and in the surrounding area from Saturday, July 1 to Friday, July 7!

During the event, a “Tanabata Corridor” will stretch from JR Ashiya Station along Chaya Sakura-dori and throughout the surrounding area. You can also pick up a tanzaku wish strip at participating stores displaying the event poster! Write down your wish and hang it on one of the bamboo branches nearby.
↑ On Sunday, July 2, a Tanabata decoration workshop will be held at “DECORATE studio” along National Route 2!
Participation is free. Visitors can make cherry blossom-shaped decorations, write their wishes on them, and hang them on an old cherry tree that no longer blooms.
