The “Dagashiya” candy shop along the Inariyama Line in Nangucho, in the Uchide area, closed as of May 31.

↑ The exterior of Dagashiya. There are still lots of capsule toy machines lined up in front of the shop, but…

↑ A “Notice of Closure” was posted on the shutter.
Here’s the map↓
The address is 11-22 Nangucho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around “Dagashiya”

↑ The shop is on the east side of the Inariyama Line, on the corner with a side street. If you go straight down the alley on the right, you’ll reach Seido Junior High School.

↑ If you head this way north along the Inariyama Line, you’ll find the supermarket “Koyo Ashiya Nangū” next door. Farther along are the Chinese restaurant “Tontontei,” the patisserie “Cake Nature Ashiya,” “Ashiya Yogashi Kobo Le・chaton,” and more. Cross National Route 43 and you’ll reach the shopping street in front of Hanshin Uchide Station.

↑ If you go the opposite way south, you’ll find the wine bar “Kyo no Wine,” “Ashiya Nangū Post Office,” the coffee shop “Coffee-ya Miniza,” and more. Cross the Rinko Line and you’ll enter Hamakaze-dori.

↑ Across the street is “Amagasaki Shinkin Bank Uchide Branch.”
Finally
It had exactly the feel of a classic neighborhood dagashi candy shop, and I’d been curious about it, so it’s a shame to see it close… Dagashi shops have been disappearing more and more lately, which feels pretty sad.
maaa, thank you for the information!!
