The Future Process for Stores Selected as Closure Candidates
The process for Co-op Mini Otani becoming a candidate store for closure was posted on the website.
1. About the revised process
Regarding the Selection of Candidate Stores for Closure in FY2023(Co-op Kobe)
① Stores will be selected as “candidates for closure”
② Members who use the applicable stores will be notified(around April)
・Postcards* will be mailed to members who used the applicable stores in ① within the past six months, and posters will be displayed at the stores to provide notice.
*If you spend 500 yen or more including tax at the applicable store and present the coupon printed on the postcard at the register, you will receive 5 Coopy Points(through the end of August).
③ A decision will be made on whether to continue or end operations(around autumn)
・Based on the improvement status after the notice in ②, a decision will be made on whether to continue or end operations, and the decision will be announced through store postings and other means.
When Co-op refers to “members,” it basically means something like regular members or account holders.
To summarize the above, members who spend 500 yen or more will receive 5 points. Based on the results, a decision will be made in autumn on whether the store will continue operating or close.

↑At Co-op Mini, in addition to milk cartons and plastic bottles, they also collect foam trays and clear trays used for prepared foods, which many other supermarkets don’t usually collect.

↑The nearby “Shukugawa Green Place,” which opened the year before last, may also be having an impact.
