It looks like the “59th Ashiya Mountain Festival” will be held at “Okuike Asobi no Hiroba” in Okuike Minamimachi on Sunday, May 14〜

The event will run from 11:00 to 14:30. There will apparently be bouldering, handmade kite flying, a woodworking workshop, “slacklining,” where you balance across a swaying rope, and a chance to try the “djembe,” a drum that originated in West Africa〜
On stage, there will also be a rock-paper-scissors tournament for elementary school students, plus a fun raffle where prizes include bathing tickets for Arima Onsen. There will also be bento boxes for sale from the yakitori restaurant “Genya,” located near JR Ashiya Station!

↑ On the day of the event, there will also be a hike led by the Ashiya Mountaineering Club from in front of “Yamate Yume Nursery School,” located along the Ashiyagawa River in Higashi Ashiyacho, to the venue at “Okuike Asobi no Hiroba.” (No advance reservation required)
