About an 8-minute walk from JR Ashiya Station, “BRASSERIE ASHIYA Becchii37” opened this March along Miyagawa Jizo-dori. We heard they were selling takeout from a food truck in front of the restaurant, so we went to check it out!
The “Cuban Sandwich” at “BRASSERIE ASHIYA Becchii37”

A hot sandwich filled with loin ham, roast pork, cheese, pickles, mustard, and more!
The surface is nice and crispy, and the tanginess of the mustard and pickles goes perfectly with the ham and roast pork.
It also comes with potato chips on the side.

In addition to the Cuban sandwich, the takeout menu includes seafood omelet rice, lunch boxes with Awaji chicken thigh, lunch boxes with Awaji Ebisu Mochi pork, hors d’oeuvres, and more.
The chef previously served as executive chef at ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe, and the restaurant is said to offer dishes that bring out the natural flavors of ingredients, with a focus on Awaji Island and Hyogo produce.
