Flat Holidays Market will be holding its downtown camping event, “BOUPAN (Stick Bread) Making Experience,” at the Former Miyazuka-cho Housing Complex in Miyazuka-cho from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22! If it rains, the event will be postponed to Sunday, April 23.
(This information was provided by Flat. Thank you!)

There are two options for the stick bread-making experience: a reservation-only course where you can enjoy the whole process, starting with building the fire, and a quick and easy drop-in course where you simply wrap the dough around a stick and bake it!
The reservation-only course also includes a workshop where you can make a wooden jam spoon and butter knife, in addition to baking bread. Click here for the application form.
A free picture-book exchange will be held at the same time! A mini ukulele concert is also scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

This event offers beginners a fun and easy way to try camping with guidance right in downtown Ashiya! It sounds like a lot of fun!
Flat Holidays Market, a flea market and workshop event, is also scheduled to return in May. We’re looking forward to that one too!
