We went to check out the prepared foods shop “Ashiya Takezono JR Ashiya Branch”, which opened on March 10 on the 3rd floor of the West Building at Mont et Mer, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station.
↑ Wow, there are so many customers lined up. It’s really lively.
↑ We went around 2 p.m., but the limited-quantity opening day items and special giveaways had already ended.
↑ I thought this might be the end of the line, but… “Halfway point”!? The line still keeps going!
↑ The line stretched all the way out to around here on the deck in front of the station! Even though the limited items were sold out, this is amazing…!
For the first three days after opening, they’ll apparently be selling limited-quantity sets and handing out special gifts, so the lines will probably continue today and tomorrow. Should you brave the line, or wait until things calm down a bit…? Such a tough call!
