The cafe “ASHIYA cafe supported by NESCAFE”, located inside Ashiya City Hall just south of Hanshin Ashiya Station, has temporarily suspended operations because the operator is no longer able to continue running the business.

“ASHIYA cafe” was opened by Nestlé Japan in partnership with Ashiya City as a commemorative project for the 80th anniversary of Ashiya’s municipal incorporation. It was also intended to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Hopefully it will be able to reopen soon under a new operator.
