We picked up “kork,” an adorable cork-shaped baked treat, from KILIG, a lifestyle shop centered around baked goods and wine that opened near Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station on September 10!

↑The “Plain” has a slightly salty flavor that seems like it would pair well with alcohol! The topping is salted meringue!
↑Here’s what the inside looks like! Every flavor has a firm, crunchy texture, making these cookies small but surprisingly satisfying.
↑The “Citrus” has refreshing lemon peel kneaded into it! It’s also topped with lemon-flavored icing.
↑The “Earl Grey” is apparently made with Earl Grey tea leaves from the tea specialty shop Uf-fu! It’s wonderfully aromatic and soothing!
Each “kork” has its own character, with bold flavors and a firm texture that really do seem like they would go well with wine! The staff can also help you choose wine, so it’s a welcoming shop even for wine beginners♪
