A “Summer Festival” is set to take place over two days, August 13 (Sat.) and 14 (Sun.), in the covered area in front of the Daimaru West Entrance on the first floor of Mont et Mer, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station.

The festival will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be shooting-gallery, ring-toss, and bottle-fishing games, with each game costing ¥300 per try.
It looks like prizes will also be given to participants!

This space is also used for events such as the weekly Monday “Ashiya Marché” and food-truck events.
Since this one is a “Summer Festival,” it should be a great chance to enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of a traditional Japanese festival—something that has been hard to come by lately!
