We had a toasted sandwich at Café De Repos（カフェ・ド・ルポ）, a café located on the grounds of the Ashiya City Museum of Art & History〜

↑This toasted sandwich set comes with both a ham sandwich and an egg sandwich!
↑The thin slices of bread are nicely toasted and crispy!
↑It’s also nice that each piece is easy to eat.
↑The egg sandwich is the type with an omelet inside. The mustard has a nice tang and isn’t too spicy, which works really well〜
↑For the drink, I chose iced milk tea! It was nice and rich!
Café De Repos Menu
↑In addition to light meals like toasted sandwiches, panini, toast, and curry rice, they also serve sweets such as handmade waffles, cakes, and anmitsu.

↑It’s a glass-walled café located on the museum grounds. There is also terrace seating.
↑You can also enter from the neighboring Tanizaki Junichiro Memorial Museum side.
If you visit both the adjacent Museum of Art & History and the Tanizaki Junichiro Memorial Museum, you can get a 50-yen discount coupon for the café!
It has been announced that the Museum of Art & History and the Tanizaki Junichiro Memorial Museum will close for renovation work from July, but the café is apparently planning to stay open for now! (There may be construction work on the café building around autumn, so it might temporarily close then.)
