Unlike previous years, plans that draw crowds, such as festival stalls, have been canceled, and only the fireworks show and citizen stage performances will be held.
Also, sponsor tickets are required to watch the fireworks at the venue, and there will be no free viewing area inside the park.

The Ashiya Dancing Fireworks Show (花火ショー) will be held from 19:45 to 20:30, with around 6,000 fireworks expected to be launched.
The citizen participation stage will take place before the fireworks, from 16:00 to 19:00.
“Cleanup Operation” to be held the day after the event
On the day after the fireworks, Sunday, July 24, from 8:00 to 12:00, the “Cleanup Operation” will be held.
It will take place at the same locations: Ashiya City General Park, Shio-Ashiya Green Space, and Shio-Ashiya Beach. After the festival, let’s help keep the city clean!
In closing
There won’t be any festival stalls, but it’s still exciting that we’ll be able to watch stage performances and fireworks at the venue! For details on sponsor tickets, please check the official Ashiya Summer Carnival website!
