We picked up some baked sweets like financiers and madeleines from “Biscuiterie Imo Kuri Nankin ASHIYA,” a baked sweets specialty shop that opened on March 18 along Miyagawa Keyaki-dori!
Baked Sweets from “Biscuiterie Imo Kuri Nankin ASHIYA”

The square ones on the left are “Kongari Butter Rich Financiers” in chocolate and matcha, 290 yen each (tax included)
The shell-shaped one in the front center is a “Gentle Butter-Flavored Madeleine” plain, 210 yen (tax included)
The triangular ones on the right are “Crisp Scones” plain 170 yen (tax included), chestnut 230 yen (tax included)

They all have such a lovely golden color and glossy finish…! Apparently, all of the baked sweets have sweet potato mixed into them.

The plain madeleine has a subtle aroma of lemon peel!

You can also taste the gentle sweetness of sweet potato and the rich flavor of butter.

The matcha financier has a moist, buttery dough with a rich matcha flavor!

The chocolate financier has a gentle flavor that’s a bit like milk chocolate.

The scone has a crisp, crumbly texture that goes so well with tea! It has a mild sweetness, so it’s good even without adding anything.

The chestnut scone has a fragrant chestnut flavor and a moist texture, making it perfect for a snack!
