JR Ashiya Station’s South Exit, which will reopen after renovations on Saturday, March 26, is looking nearly finished!

↑The walls that had been covering the area are gone, so you can see the exterior now!

↑It looks like work is steadily moving along inside too, ahead of the opening.

↑Inside the station, UNIQLO and the food and liquor specialty shop “YAMASHO” are scheduled to open!
To celebrate the opening, it looks like UNIQLO will be giving away plates and tenugui towels, while YAMASHO will be giving out “nure ohagi”! (…Nure ohagi!? Aren’t ohagi already kind of moist by nature…? Now we’re curious…!!)

↑After the new South Exit opens, the current South Exit stairs will no longer be available. Take note!

↑The upward escalator from the station platform to the ticket gate level will also start operating! We’re looking forward to it!
