A butter sandwich specialty shop, “saison de cinquieme”, opened on March 5 at the former site of boutique “Ebisuya” along Sanpachi-dori in Chayanomachi!

↑ It’s a cute shop on the corner.
It’s a new concept from Okaman Honpo, a Japanese confectionery shop in Tokushima Prefecture, and they sell butter sandwiches made with “Awa Wasanbon sugar,” produced from sugarcane grown on their own farm.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 6-11 Chayanomachi, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The menu at “saison de cinquieme”

↑ The butter sandwiches are sold frozen! They had flavors including “rum raisin,” “Ogura azuki,” “strawberry,” “apple,” “fig,” and “sakura” (seasonal).
These carefully made butter sandwiches feature fruit processed in-house, chunky sweet bean paste made by the shop, and butter cream matched to each flavor, all sandwiched between sable cookies made with Awa Wasanbon sugar!

↑ They were also selling baked sweets.
