There was information about park construction work on the Ashiya City website. It looks like renovation work is currently being carried out at four parks. According to the website, the jungle gym and monkey bars at Ashiya Park will be removed, and a new rope-climbing play structure will be added. (The two-seat swings, four-seat swings, three-section horizontal bars, slide, and spring rider will be replaced with new ones.)
“Rope climb” sounds like it could be a pretty fun new piece of playground equipment. The construction period runs until Tuesday, March 15.
