I had Sri Lankan curry at “Peace Curry,” a shop serving European-style curry and Sri Lankan curry located along an alley in Chayanomachi!
Peace Curry’s “Special Lanka Plate”

“Special Lanka Plate” 1,100 yen (tax included)
It’s a one-plate meal with one curry from the selectable “Curry of the Day,” parippu (lentil curry), basmati rice, assorted side dishes, papad (lentil cracker), and pani puri.
This time, I chose the “Sri Lankan Chicken” curry, which the menu described as “recommended, the classic choice!!”

↑ Is that round thing on top the “papad pani puri”? It’s kind of cute.

The staff told me, “Please mix it all together well before eating,” so I went ahead and mixed it up without hesitation!

Spicy parts, herb-like flavors, sweet-and-sour bites, crunchy textures, bean-rich notes… every bite had something different going on, which made it so fun to eat!
It was packed with spices and warmed me right up!
Peace Curry’s Menu

↑ They have a European-style curry menu and a Sri Lankan curry menu.

↑ This is what the Sri Lankan curry menu looked like that day!
