This eclair is made with choux pastry filled with sweet potato cream, custard, and diced sweet potato paste.
It has a subtle rum flavor, giving it a more grown-up taste!
The bouchée has a crisp and fluffy texture, with a spread made from sweet potato and butter plus sweet potato jam sandwiched inside.
“Maaru” 12 pieces, 432 yen (tax included)
“Maaru” is an original baked sweet made with almond dacquoise dough and sweet potato paste in the center!
Limited-edition seasonal “Maaru” flavors are also sold, and when I visited, they had autumn-like flavors such as chestnut and pumpkin!
The basic sweet potato “Maaru” comes in plain and salted butter flavors.
You can also mix and match as many different flavors as you like!
