We had lunch at CHI・i・NA, a Chinese restaurant in Arpa Ashiya on Ekimae-dori Avenue near JR Ashiya Station.
CHI・i・NA’s Taiwanese Fried Noodle Set
Lunch B Set (Taiwanese Fried Noodles): ¥1,700 (tax included)
For the B Set, you can choose from three main dishes: Taiwanese fried noodles, fried noodles with oyster sauce, or spicy tantanmen.
The Taiwanese fried noodles feature chewy, flat noodles reminiscent of fresh pasta, topped with plenty of crisp garlic chives and bean sprouts!
In addition to the main dish, the B Set comes with half-size fried rice, a mini salad, two kinds of dim sum, and almond jelly.
It’s great to be able to sample a little bit of everything!
That day’s dim sum selections were steamed shrimp dumplings and shumai. We enjoyed them with soy sauce and vinegar.
The almond jelly for dessert was rich and silky! It felt like a full-course meal and made for a very satisfying lunch.
