On Tuesday, September 28, I got takeout panini from Baracca del Sole, a takeout-only pizza and panini shop that had just reopened after a renewal!
Baracca del Sole’s “BBQ Beef Panini”
“BBQ Beef Panini (Size S)” 1,500 yen (tax included)
It’s pretty big even though it’s a size S! Maybe the difference is in the amount of meat inside?
But there’s a generous amount of meat in there too! It’s really satisfying!
It’s described as “smoked beef belly slowly cooked for 12 hours,” and sure enough, it’s so tender!
The plentiful sauce and the slightly spicy chili peppers and onions go perfectly with the meat!
It’s right near the seawall and Minami Ashiyahama Beach, so it’s also nice to relax and eat while looking out at the sea.
“Lemonade (soft drink)” 350 yen (tax included)
All soft drinks are 350 yen, and you choose and pour your drink yourself into the cup they give you! The cup has a cute logo sticker on it, making it perfect for photos!
The sweet-and-tart lemonade is a perfect match for a rich, meaty panini♪

Baracca del Sole Shop Information
The shop had been forced to close due to flooding damage from a major typhoon in September 2018 and the seawall construction that followed, but now it has made its comeback for the first time in three years as a takeout-only shop (with an eat-in space available)!
To the left as you face the shop is the Japanese sweets shop “Chachadokoro Hitono Wagokoro”.
